Christ Returned
Christ Returned
I listen carefully to the words I read,
Repeating them over in my mind,
I try to comprehend the essence of His verses.
I stand
Alone upon the shore of God's Ocean,
Watching the waves roll in,
Listening to their roar.
Written in the latter part of the nineteenth century,
Baha'u'llah's words
Are the blue print of God's new world order,
The only hope for a world gone mad.
I walk
Along the water's edge,
As gentle waves wash my bare feet.
There is no doubt about His identity,
Though he wars a different face--has a different name,
He is Christ
Returned in the Glory of the Father.
I kneel
By a swirling tide pool,
Reach in
And pull out an oytser
Containing a perfect pearl.
