Feast of Sultan

The footsteps of 'Abdu'l-BAha
echo down the corridors of time,
while his words reverberate
through through our souls
as we sip--
from the chalice of sovereignty--
the call to peace and unity.

Sultan Meditation

O Lord,
The cup of Your sovereignty,
Overflows with the wine of Your covenant.

O Lord,
The chalice of Your authority,
Overflows with the wine of Your love.

O Lord,
The goblet of Your dominion,
Overflows with the wine of Your joy.

O Lord,
The grail of Your jurisdiction,
Overflows with the wine of Your radiance.

O Lord,
The mug of Your power,
Overflows with the wine of Your splendor.

O Lord,
The stein of Your supremacy,
Overflows with the wine of Your majesty.

O Lord,
The vessel of Your autonomy,
Over flows with the wine of Your being.

O Lord,
The flagon of Your freedom,
Overflows with the wine of Your adoration.

O Lord,
The horn of Your independence,
Overflows with the wine of Your knowledge.

O Lord,
The repository of Your liberty,
Overflows with the wine of Your cause.

Feast of Sovereignty

O my Lord!
The wine of Thy sovereignty
Is being poured upon humanity,
Through the words of Thy Manifestation.

O my Lord!
The sword of Thy knowledge,
Has severed the neck of enmity,
Through the power of Thy revelation.

I wrote "Feast of Sultan" in in 151 B.E. "Sultan Meditation" was written in 152 B.E. "Feast of Sovereignty" was written in 153 B.E. They were inspire by a feast held on the evening of January 18. The Feast Feast Readings in 151 B.E. were by 'Abdu'l-Baha.
