Gratitude List for 16 Masa’ill

Today I am thankful...
          ...that I found my mother's copy of The Baha'i World Faith: Selected Writings of Baha'u'llah and Abdu'l-Baha, because now I can read it when getting up in the morning and before going to sleep at night;
          ...for coffee and Christmas cookies for my first breakfast this morning;
          ...that I have 4,217,012 GPs in my Gift Points account, because now I can purchase a 12-month membership in writing.com;
          ...for the sandwich, with meat and cheese, I had for my second breakfast;
          ...that I can get most of my prescriptions through the Humana mail order pharmacy, so I don't have to find a way to a local pharmacy to pick them up.

On the last Thankful Thursday in 2018,
I give thanks to the Glorious Lord,
for being able to purchase a new pair of glasses,
for the ADA transport bus that run twenty-four seven,
for being able to move to a small apartment,
for the landlord who will take the deposit fee in payments,
for a year that has increased my faith in Baha'u'llah,
for my sister, brothers, and their families,
for De and her daughter,
for the Baha'i community in Las Vegas and across the world,
for being able to pay my Internet and power bill.

On the last Thankful Thursday in 2018,
I am looking forward to the new Gregorian year of 2019
because Baha'is across the world will celebrate
         the Naw-Ruz 176 on March 21,
         the two-hundredth Anniversary of the Birth of the Bab on October 29,
         and the Anniversary of the Birth of Baha'u'llah on October 30.
