Anointed by Light:
August 1998 (155 B.E.)

         The photo records the blessed event. The anointing of the Las Vegas Baha'i Center by the hand of God. For the faithful, the believer no further explanation is needed. The miracles is obvious and true.
         The light shines down from above completely covering the cooper dome infusing into the building's very atoms love. Blessing the sacrifices of faith.

The guzheng1 intones humanity's common tongue.

Love pours rosewater into divine unity's palm.

The erhu2 sings humanity's love songs.

Roses lend scent to the calla lilies blooms.

The reed pipe3 chants verses of divine unity.

Roses on love's podium die to self.

The voice of the drum echoes the spoken word.

I wrote this on 2 Ayyam-i-Ha 161 B.E. The inspiration was celebration I attended at the Baha'i Center.
