Fast Vahids 1 Oh, Beloved! From the chalice of Thy book, I sip the wine of Thy utterance. 2 Thirs flows across the desert of self, Washing the dross from the mirror of matter. 3 Beauty of the worlds, Sunset call the lost ones home, To dine on the fruit of faith. 4 Resting in the soil of faith, The kernel decomposes into roots and stems. 5 Desire of the worlds, Sunset calls the wander home, To drink the wine of Thy love. 6 Thirst flows across the desert of self, Quenched by the water of renunciation. 7 Joy of the worlds, Sunset calls the seeker home, To rest beneath the Tree of Life. 8 The wall between the lover and the Beloved, Will crumble with obedience. 9 Beloved of the worlds, Sunset calls the faithful, To feast on the Tree of Life. 10 Starvation consumes the child of self; The child of faith feeds on the the Tree of Life. 11 Beloved! At the table of Thy remembrance, I dine on Thy sacred words. 12 The Most Great Name of God, Empowers the lover's spirit, When chanted in the dawn. 13 Life of the worlds, Sunrise awakens the faithful With the light of certitude. 14 The waters of submission flow, Through the desert of self, In dry riverbeds. 15 Fire of the worlds, Sunrise awakens the seeker, To the splendor of Thy faith. 16 The child of faith consumes the Water of Life; Thirst overcomes the child of self. 17 Forgiver of the worlds, Sunrise awakens the lost ones, To reality. 18 The wind of God's word, The fruit of God's love, Replace material sustenance. 19 Oh, Beloved!
