Day of Resurrection

This is the day of resurrection
when the voice of the Promised One
can be heard
intoning the verse of God.

From the heaven of revelation
descends the Book of God's Law,
descends the Holy City
the New Jerusalem.

Rejoice

Rejoice,
Lovers of God,
For this is the Day of Resurrection.

Raise your voices in praise
To the Glory of God,
To the Lord of Hosts,
To the Prince of Peace,
To the Ancient Beauty,
For this is the day of unity.

On the Day of Resurrection

I felt the Holy Spirit's presence flowing
through my soul that lay sleeping
in dogma's crypt.

I felt dead limbs tingling,
as blood flowed at God's command,
heard stiff joints creaking,
and felt stiff muscles contracting
as I rose to meet into paradise.

Annunciation

Pale gray-white sky
Charcoal clouds
Dawn bleeds
Gold light trumpets announce resurrection.

On the Day of Resurrection

By day the dark collage of colored glass,
Looks hopeless on a world illumined by the sun,
Those going past see only darkness in the panes
That shown so bright and colorful by night.
