The Heart's Garden and Timing
Fiḍál (Grace), 19 Qawl (Speech) 175 B.E. - Tuesday, December 11, 2018

"O Friend!
In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with the ungodly."
Baha'u'llah1

Faith, hope, joy, and love, write something about each of these in you blog entry today.

The Heart's Garden

Within the walls of self a garden grows
Planted with seeds we harvest from life's blows,
If we don't chose carefully the seeds,
In our heart's garden fear and hatred glows.

If we carefully chose the seeds,
We will grow flowers and fruits instead of weeds,
When we plant the seeds of faith, love, joy, and hope,
Our garden will grow exquisite deeds.

“Execution is something, but timing is everything.” Todd Stocker
What does “timing” mean to you? What happens when your timing is off?

Timing

Timing is a wonderful quality; however, in real life it isn't necessary under normal conditions. It could be necessary when one has an important appointment or under abnormal conditions. Those two circumstances are the only times timing is absolutely necessary. Otherwise its a crap shoot, with four possible outcome: (1) the right place at the wrong time, (2) the wrong place at the right time, (3) the wrong place at the wrong time, and (4) the right place at the right time. The last outcome is a very rare occurrence, and proof that God, the universe, or fate (you chose which one) has a sense of humor.
