A Slightly Different Plan

Originally, I was going to continue working on my scriptwriting projects. I even decided which one I was going to be working on this weekend. That was before I learned what the WDC Short Story was for December. When I learned about that I decided to do this Short Story instead of my scriptwriting.

I went to sleep last night thinking about the story that I was going to write. It didn’t take me long to remember one. That’s right, this is going to be a Science Fiction story. It’s going to be a story about a female Commander who blames herself for the death of most of her crew, and how she redeems herself a little. A lot of that has to do with a mission that only she can do, but it looks like she’s going to have to do it alone because no one wants to do it with her.

Of course, I was hoping to get the whole thing done yesterday, Saturday, but I knew that I wouldn’t. I did think that I would get a little bit further than I did, though. Was hoping that I would get back half of it done today, and the other half tomorrow. Unfortunately, I only got about a fifth of it done. Does that mean I won’t get the rest of it done tomorrow? No, it doesn’t. It just means it’s very unlikely that I will get it done. Hopefully, I’ll get it done before I go back to work on Wednesday, aka after my days off.

What am I going to do next week? The plan was to finish my WDC Short Story this weekend and return to my scriptwriting. Now, it looks like I’m going to be working on my Short Story a day or two of next week. Hopefully, it’s not going any longer than that. Whether it does or it doesn’t happen that soon, I should be able to spend at least a few days on my scriptwriting.
