Divine Christmas
Heat up the cider
Bring out the festive mugs
Sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg
It's time to pull out the wreaths,
The tree, the Advent Candles,
The green and redlights
The glittering balls of delight.
Put on the Christmas music
And strike up the band.
Let the music swirl
And pull us into its cosmic creativity
Where the Nativity is brought forth
And we get ready
to celebrate the birth
Of God's great Light
The appointed savior
Born to us
In Bethlehem
This season where
Darkness is pierced
By the purity
Of love
And kindness
That this time of year
Brings forth
Into all of mankind
Regardless of race,
Religion, colour or creed
We are all one
In the name of
Love.
