Guess What? That’s right. I have changed my mind once again. I’m redoing the Introduction Chapter for both of my novels. Not only am I using the Times New Roman 12 font, but I have also started to use one-inch margins all around it and am single spacing it. At least it’s single-spaced right now. I’m going to double space it when I’m ready to start sending it out for publication. Why have I decided to do this? Mostly, it’s because it was driving me crazier than I already am trying to do it with Courier 12, and a sixty-character line. True, part of the reason why I changed it to Times New Roman 12 is because I only got one response from my Notebook post, and they say that’s what they use, but it’s not the main reason I’m doing it though. It’s because the industry is using Times New Roman 12. At least it is in most of the research I have done. Besides, the longer the line, which is now seventy-eight characters per line, the more I can put into my novels. The biggest problem with this change is that I need to go back to the beginning with my Wandita Introduction Chapter again. How many times have I done this with that novel? At least three times, probably four or five. I thought that I had that chapter done. Now I’m starting all over again. It might not be all that bad, though. I’ve got my old finished chapter to fall back on. I’m hoping all I need to do is punch it up a lot because of the extra characters per line plus the number of lines per page. I am also doing it because I didn’t like the way it looked before. It felt more like telling instead of showing. Yes, I know that isn’t as big of a thing like it is with a Short Story, but it still is to me. I’d whether show than tell. Even though I do both in these novels. What does all this mean? It means that I’m not going to get to the Jessica Strong Introduction Chapter until Wednesday or Thursday if I’m lucky. The first thing I need to do is get the Wandita one done. I know I don’t have to do it first, that that has been the first one I have been doing this month so far. Yes, I like to switch out every chapter, but I’m still working on the first one. So, I started with Wandita, so that’s the one I’m working on first. Unfortunately, I got a late start on writing part one of my Introduction Chapter for my Wandita novel that I didn’t quite get the first part done. I got most of it, but not all of it. I’ve still got about twenty-six lines left to do. I’m going to try to do that before I go to sleep tonight. My lateness isn’t the only reason I didn’t get any more writing done than I did. It’s also because of work. It wasn’t too busy there today, but I did have a little excitement that I had to deal with. Overall, it was a normal Sunday.
