To See The Face of God

To See the Face of God

It doesn't matter what you think of a person,
if you are willing
to look deep into the closed
box of their soul,
you'll find something about them
to like.

There is something good
in each human being
we just have to look for it.

We must listen
to the haunted cry of the soul
that is hidden
beneath layers of bubble wrap.

To see good qualities
in a stronger,
in every human being,
is to see the face of God.
