Changing Your Life

People can help us and give us suggestions to change things in our life but we have to make the final decision. I worked in mental health and if those people didn't want to be motivated, they wouldn't do it. We tried to help them but it was up to them to let us help them. You can try to help someone get their GED but if they show no interest, you can't force them to do it.

Like me. I wanted to write. I do write. I wouldn't want someone else to do my writing for me. Like learning to walk again after my extensive bowel surgery, being in a breathing tube 6 days, I had to learn walk. The therapists were great but I had to do the work and walk. I did. Others can help us to change our lives but we have to be motivated and driven to do so.
