Blog City image small Prompt: "When you were first beginning writing, who were your literary inspirations? What did you learn from their writing? Are they still as inspiring?"

When I first began writing my influences were Dr. Suess, Charles Dickens, and others. Bear in mind that I was still a child. I knew the first time I figured out that those symbols we call letters had significance that I was going to be a writer. I was in first grade.

I seldom research before writing unless it is a research specific assignment. I'm getting ready to write a 12 page paper for school, which is a research paper.
