Candy, Halloween, and Clichés
Istijlál (Majesty), 13 ‘Izzat (Might) 175 B.E. - Thursday, September 20, 2018

The "Question of the Day!Open in new Window. for September 20, 2018 is "The common denominator among Gummi Bears, Skittles and M&M's are that they are colorful. So, how do you choose to eat these types of candies?" For me, M&Ms are the first and best tasting choice. When I eat them, I consume two or three different colors at the same time because that produces the most enjoyable flavor.

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's ParadiseOpen in new Window. prompt for Day 1738
"Aflame in color, poets have written, borrowing the language of fire to describe trees in their full glory-fiery-red sweetgums, sugar maples igniting, birches alight in yellow flames. Okay, writers what are your views on this?

Halloween

Orange flames crackle
Oak leaves dance in the wind
Jack o' Lantern fun

Daylight hours shorten
Stars sparkle in the night sky
Trick or Treaters laugh

Grandma baked cookies
For the neighborhood children
Happy Halloween

Use this line in your entry today--- "As the song goes..."Those three words are said too much, they're not enough." " Have fun.

Clichés

Cliché are never enough to express an opinion, or explain a situation. A cliché touches the surface without making waves, or giving logical or illogical reasons for an opinion. Clichés don't carry a conversation forward, rather they (to me) suggest that the subject needs changing.
