The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Kamál (Perfection), 3 ‘Izzat (Might) 175 B.E. - Monday, September 10, 2018 On Sunday, September 9, I finished reading the two, published, articles in series The 150th Anniversary of Baha’u’llah’s Arrival in the Holy Land . I don't know if there will be any more article in this series or not, but if there are I will read them. I, also, finished New Worlds in 30 Words: A Poem Inspired by Unity by Shadi Toloui-Wallace. Today, I will begin reading the series Understanding Human Nature by Tim Wood. Since this is Monday, and I have several other things to do this week, I will be reading only one article each day. The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" prompt for DAY 1728 “But sorrow is unreliable in that way. When people don’t share it, there’s a good chance that it will drive them apart instead.” ~ Fredrik Backman, A Man Called Ove In what ways can sorrow drive people apart? What are your thoughts and insight on the matter? Shared Sorrows As long as the soul and body are together on the physical/material plane, sorrows are a part of life. Sometimes we share these sorrows with only other people. Sometimes we share them only with the Almighty. Sometimes we share them with both the Unknowable Creator and with our friends or family. If we keep our sorrows to ourselves, they become a cancer eating away at our peace of mind and our soul. Sorrows must, in someway, be shared with others or they make us more unhappy. Unshared sorrows also drive a wedge between individual and humanity or between individuals and their concept of God. Sorrows, like joy, have to be shared. The "Blogging Circle of Friends " prompt for DAY 2122 Art is not escape, but a way of finding order in chaos, a way of confronting life. ~ Robert Hayden What are your thoughts about art? Art is one of the ways we can worship the Almighty. It does not matter what spiritual path or religion an individual follows because art, when created in the proper spirit, is a way of worshiping God. It is a way of sharing beauty with humanity. Art is a gift of the Holy Spirit. The way individuals chooses to use art is part of of their free will. Individuals can use their art to uplift humanity or to degrade humanity. It is the individual artist choice how the art is used. |
