Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "July 20, 1969 - In a live transmission from the Moon was viewed by 720 million people around the world, with the landing of Apollo 11, at 10:56 p.m. EDT, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin stepped onto the surface of the Moon, live on international television.

Do you remember that day and seeing it on television? How old were you when this monumental event occurred? If you weren't alive when it happened, what grade were you in school when you first learned about this piece of history?

Do you think we should return to the moon with the equipment we have today and improve our knowledge or move on to Mars?"

I was eight years old when Neil Armstrong first put foot on the moon. I remember wondering who was holding the camera that filmed him doing so because the scene was filmed from a good distance away. If it had been a close up I would never has said a word but it was filmed out from the LLM at least fifty yards. So the question still remains, who was holding the camera? As to going back I could really not care one way or the other. I believe Mars should be our
next objective.

If I could only speak one word today it would have to be "Jesus" because He must come first in all things in my life.
