Fiḍál (Grace), 3 Raḥmat (Mercy) 175 B.E. - Tuesday, June 26, 2018 The "Blogging Circle of Friends " DAY 2049 “So often the world sits idly by, watching ethnic conflicts flare up, as if these were mere entertainment rather than human beings whose lives are being destroyed. Shouldn’t the existence of even one single refugee be a cause for alarm throughout the world?” » Urkhan Alakbarov What do you think? Humanity is one family! Each refuge who flees because of war, religious persecution, or for any reason are, at the very least, fiftieth cousins to every other individual on Earth. As long as one refugee suffers, we all suffer because we are genetically and spiritually tied to the human race and to this planet. In this age of transition, the suffering will increase for refugees and ourselves if are not concerned about the treatment of refugees fleeing to safer places. The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" DAY 1652 Donald Hall, a former poet laureate of the USA, who passed away on June 23, 2018, once said, “Literature starts by being personal, but the deeper we go inside the more we become everybody.” What are your thoughts on the quote? Literature speaks to each individual on different levels, while carrying forward a theme or themes common to everyone. |
