and more inclusive
that personal concepts of divinity.

It encourages
intimate encounters with the sacred,
with the soul-self
that hides behind the veils of opposites.

In composing spiritual poetry
the poet's soul gives expression
to its experience of awe
through odes to the Beloved.

I finished this on 2 Kamal 161 B.E. After much thought, I removed the following stanza, which was the fourth stanza of the original poem.

It reveals a gestalt so inclusive
that all former concepts of reality
become satanic illusion
frozen in the bowels of hell.
