1 Dawn Rays of God's new day scatters the forces of night, send into hiding the creatures of darkness, and bestow new life on all who turn to the light. 2 On The Eight Day The eight day dawned bright With humanity reborn Into God's new world order 3 Daybreak Why does night deepen? To fight day's rising splendor! Why does the sky bleed? The glory of the Beloved! Who scatters dawn's rays? The atoms of its beauty! What makes morning cold? Shedding its grandeur into Space earth bleeds for the Beloved! Who ignites the dawn? Ray of living light Dispel the legions of night! 4 Dawn Dawn's scarlet apples Release their tart blood In mute torrents Across the purple sky. 5 Dawn Prayers Dawn and dawn prayers bring the best out in me and set the tone for the rest of the day. 6 After Morning Prayers The presence of the Beloved lingers scenting the air with tranquility. 7 Dawn In the light of the rising sun, The morning sky is scarlet, Clouds of dogma block men's sight, Obscuring the Lord's return. 8 Meditation Before Dawn Tranquility listens for the approaching chaos of morning. 9 My Favorite Time of Day When the sun kisses the mountain's crest transmuting it to burnished gold my eye lids open and I greet the day with prayer 10 Light Switch A switch if flipped Certitude flows through mental circuits Dispelling the darkness of doubt Poet's Note: ▼ |
