The Spiritual Significance of Merging Galaxies

Spiral arms embrace
the evolving landscape of reality.

Passioned pairs
move through cold hydrogen;
collide,
merge,
coalesce
into a single elliptical identity.

Opposites love:
female and male,
positive and negative,
existence and nonexistence,
enery and matter,
diversity and unity
become symbols of spiritual evolution,
and progressive revelation,
as concepts of divinity
merge into a single essence.
