Nobody Counts the Calories in Dessert

The sweet saver of reality,
punishment and reward,
isn't measured in grams of fat.

Faith alone,
stands the the stress of time and matter,
carries the lover
beyond the point where
1 unit of heat
raises the temperature of
1 gram of water
1^o C.

Actions consume
each gram of faith
raising the soul
through the degrees of
perfection.
