Poetry Wrote Over Several Years on Spiritual, Religious, and Devotional Subjects. |
1 On Death and Resurrection Don't sorrow, rais your voices in song, the lover has joined the Beloved in paradise. 2 Resurrection Recreated through the power of God, Humanity walks naked through creations' fire, Emerging a new race--reborn from the ashes of the old. Paradise echoes with a new song; The Universe, compressed into its primordial atom, Explodes into a new existence. Purged of the maladies of matter, We rise to meet our Lord in the air, We stand holding a new name written on a white stone. 3 Self-Improvement The effort made by the individual, To unlock her own human potential. 4 Resurrection In the time it takes an atom to move from point to point, our souls ascend into the realm of God. 5 Angel Wings On the wings of Knowledge and spirituality The soul ascends In peace 6 The Illusion of Death It's the illusion that obsesses, that compels, that generates unreasonable fears. Fears that segregated, isolate, and mutilate the soul. It's the illusion that decomposes into nonexistence when confronted with reality. At death the body decomposes, into its original elements, into atoms. At death the soul ascends, out of the charnel house of matter, into eternity. Life is a journey never ending, an atom ascending the degrees of creation. The soul is an element never dying; an atom ascending the degrees of perfection. 7 Necessity Thirst for God's word Engenders desire for The Elixir of Eternal life. 8 Dream of Life I dream of eternal life; I dream of Soul Birds and their young; I dream of huge red spotted black winged butterflies fluttering through the forest of paradise; I dream of shiny gree sculpted caterpillars crawling across green oak-shaped leaves on the Tree of Life. 9 The Human Soul There are deep places in the human soul, Where light and darkness battle for control, Where yin and yang test the point of balance. 10 The Awakened Soul Conscious that each test reveals necessary improvement, the awakened soul never hesitates to mount the steed of endeavor.
