The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Saturday,May 12, 2018 "In beauty I walk With beauty before me I walk With beauty behind me I walk With beauty above me I walk With beauty around me I walk It has become beauty again It has become beauty again It has become beauty again It has become beauty again" The "Blogging Circle of Friends " prompt for DAY 2004: The Path of Beauty. The Path of Beauty Hozho, pronounced Ho′zho′, is a Navajo referring to "balance and beauty"2. I first learned about this idea and the Navajo prayer a few days ago when I was listening to the blogcast "Navajo Tradition and the Baha’i Teachings"3 by Nanabah Bulman on the Baha'i Blog4. While I was listening to the blogcast, I had an epiphany about the spiritual path I walk. I realized that, despite the tests, difficulties, and stress I have encountered on my spiritual path I am walking the path of beauty because beauty is a spiritual attribute. Seeing beauty in the difficulties of life encourages balance and resilience. Walking the Path of Beauty The path of beauty, is a spiritual path leading through test and difficulties. I do not walk this path alone walking beside me is the Ancient Beauty, the Blessed Beauty, the Glory of God, Baha'u'llah.5 Footnotes |
