Prompt: Joy asked if what we learn in life is enough to get us through an earthly life or do we learn from other ways besides school? What should we teach kids about life? What I learned in school wasn't enough to know about earthly life. The Valedictorian went to a big college and was flunking out. I went to a small college and I was 2.8 to 3.0 At college in high school, I was 2.6. It was hard. The only class in college I made an A in, was Children's Literature. School is text book stuff. You learn everything else by experience. Jobs, bad boyfriends, choosing the wrong friends. THESE THINGS CAN'T BE TAUGHT IN TEXTBOOKS! You learn as you go. About marriage, working at a job, raising kids. You teach your kids to do well in school, be kind, go to Church and help them all you can. They have to learn about life on their own. You do your best to teach them right. I am still learning, of course. I am retired from a nursing job and I am glad. You can have every degree there is and still not know everything about an earthly life. Experience is the best teacher! ** Image ID #2156850 Unavailable ** |
