Wisdom to Do Right

Trials come to everyone
before and after tests.
Defeatist thought? No. It is none.
Reminds us what is best.

The Lord of All is smelter rare.
He watches liquid gold.
He skims the dross with greatest care.
He waits 'til Face is told.

To do His Will that's good and right
is Wisdom's highest goal.
The way is slow, not over night
and when we're wise, we're whole.

Align the soul and spirit first,
then these and body join
The Holy Spirit by our thirst
in lasting worthy coin.

We focus on the spirit realm,
the one that's lesser seen
That daily tests don't overwhelm
the learner, who's still green.

The tests are rarely for our joy.
The pain makes wisdom grow
that good, our tool, we do employ,
our God we'll better know.

Our efforts will not make us saved.
Salvation is The Lord's,
but Wisdom is from Truth behaved
and right is lasting Word.
