Spring Celebrations in March and April
March is the beginning of a New Year,
Hope reborn with the celebration of Naw-Ruz,
Each celebrant greeted with joyful cheer,
Happy laughter, the chance to proclaim good news,
Youth and age contribute to the atmosphere,
Having fun, praying, singing without any booze.
April celebrates Baha'u'llah's declaration,
Lasting twelve days, and continuing into May,
Glad anniversary of His Divine Station,
Days to read the Tablet of Ridvan1 and pray,
Say prayers for teaching and the nation,
Yes, these are always said, but Ridvan are sacred days.
Expressing our love for the Glory of God2,
Gives our souls a chance God's Holy Name to laud.
