Istijlál (Majesty), 9 Bahá (Splendor) 175 B.E. - Thursday, March 29, 2018 "The peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God." Baha'u'llah1 Gratitude List for the Last Thankful Thursday in March 2018 Sparrows' gratitude reverberating from trees leaves a pastel green. Thank you, O God, for inspiration derived from the Pen of Your Glory. I listen to the laughter echoing across my neighborhood, and through the city. I give thanks for being born in this day. I hear the birds singing. I hear people laughing. I feel the gratitude and joy rising from my soul, and spreading through my entire body. Despite the stress flowing across the planet, I am blessed because this is the of the fulfillment of the promises in the Sacred Scriptures. I am thankful for spring. I am thankful for the sparrows singing in the pine and palm trees around my apartment. I am thankful for the inspiration that I receive from the chilly mornings, and warm afternoons. I am thankful that there is no longer snow on Mount Charleston, because snow on the Mountain makes the air in the valley colder. I am thankful for the rain we had yesterday. Footnotes |
