SURRENDER - March 26

In light of Holy week...

The following scripture is about monetary giving to the Lord, but I submit to you that it is also valid to the extent of our lives we give over (surrender) to Him:

“Give, and it shall be given to you: good measure and pressed down and shaken together and running over shall they give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you shall mete withal, it shall be measured to you again." –Luke 6:38

If you want more of God, surrender more of yourself to Him.

Further, the Lord says, “Cast your cares upon me, for I care for you.” --1 Peter 5:7

Lay down your burdens, and take up His.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” --Matthew 11:28-30

He is bringing us into alignment as we move into alignment with Him and His Word---for we are co-laborer’s with Him.
