Keeping Secrets

worries marble
like clouds challenging
with bravado,
in overtures
and expansion,
spreading rumors
of destruction

but you are equipped
with food for thought
similar to prayers, and
a brave gatekeeper
that you are,
after registering the dead,
you lower your pains
stiff and sharp,
into their burial crypts.
