Merry Christmas, Yesterday!
Now life moves along
To the New Year's full display
of it's lights and song!

Auld Lang Syne, our latest tune,
as 2017 is done.
Turn we thoughts to Spring quite soon
and flow'rs and outside FUN!

Think again of Savior's Birth
in little Jewish town,
When cave and manger knew great worth
of King, Who'd wear The Crown.

The earthly king in lust for coin
forever marked this day
As modern people all adjoin
His Birth with gift display.

Easily Earth marches fast
to next plate's luscious fare
For when the wrappings pile is cast,
New goal in heart is there.

Now thank we God, not all is lost
for some will cherish well
The Savior, Who did count the cost
to save dear souls from Hell.

The greatest Gift of Christmas Day
is found on Easter's Morn,
When Baby, Who was laid in hay
brings life to the reborn!
