Present, Memory

Prompt: Most people have at least one memory of a present-given or received that continues to glow in the mind, like a good story. What are some of your favorite presents you have received?

I could write a book on this but I will keep it short. My husband bought me all the original "Dark Shadows" episodes and that has always been my favorite show and I still love it and enjoy watching them. I watched the series in 2 years and am starting over again.

A pink Tea Set from my mother that I cherish and a Jane Austen Tea Set from a friend Minya here and being a Jane Austen buff makes it special. My husband bought me a Jane Austen illustrated Treasury Book with samples of Jane's writing, painted pictures of Jane and in depth summaries of Jane's novels. What a treasure!

I have received a Celine Dion Doll wearing the heart of the ocean necklace, Chatty Cathy, Barbies, an emerald ring from my husband, a fairy and wolf statue, Rachael Ray purple dishes, Frozen dolls and Swen the reindeer. Beautiful sweaters, a Vera Bradley luggage bag and a purple fabric Vera Bradley wallet. I love getting presents.

The love and thought behind them are the best presents of all!
