🥇 Binds That Tie
Binds That Tie A Daily Winner for November 30th
Why all the jokes about mother-in-laws
and misery?
I was naive until my wife’s mother
moved in with me.
I found out that the humor’s based in truth.
Now I can see!
They say what doesn’t kill you makes you strong.
She’ll be the death of me … and that’s just wrong!
Perhaps it is her view. She’s never seen
a glass half full.
She’s an abacus in a digital world:
no ones – just null.
At ninety, the flexibility’s gone.
All push, no pull!
Still, bless her soul, she’s family, I know.
I just wonder who’ll be the first to go!
