Finding Home

Finding Home is daily quest,
until we have arrived.
Blinded Hope through each new test
releases sight to thrive.

Longing searches for a place
of rest and daily peace.
Choice to wander over Grace
binds without release.

Fin'lly, when our strength is gone
and Hope is fully spent,
Weakness does more than our brawn
to straighten what we've bent.

Home is found in One we find,
Whose shows up when we're lost.
Demeanor on His Face is kind.
Our rest, He paid the cost.
