A Futile attempt to unravel Americana ... |
"I like aquariums. Their fun to watch and maintain. A salt water aquarium is especially fun. You watch tube worms grow from live coral and sand." Muzzy remarked. "Yes. I have a freshwater aquarium and it is fun to see how the fish interact. I like to have live plants with a fine natural gravel. I'll set up a bubble wand on the back glass with a solid blue back ground taped on the outside back. It's very attractive." Mike answered. "In a saltwater tank you can see symbiotic interactions. A clown fish will feed an anemone and clean itself in it's poisonous tentacles. I like to use a Berlin skimmer .. They are large and clean the water up quicker. You can put the skimmer in the wet dry bio-ball sump, but I think a skimmer works better hanging off the back. It gets the particles of ditrous out the tank quicker. And it's a good water flow in the tank." Muzzy added. "Hey aren't you guys suppose to be back from your break?" a customer seated behind them asks. "I punched out." Muzzy smiles back. Mike looks at the clock, "Yeah, I'm late." He heads back to work, "That was a fun talk." Muzzy waves, "Thanks." and leaves. The customer whispers to his friend, "I thought they'd never shut up."
