We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life. |
Teary-eyed little boy, downcast face, shaded heart. Mom's face fading captures joy, weary orphan, new life's start. Frothing mouth, Momma's RULE! Terrified the boy ghost-breathed. Loving hate spewed words so cruel. Last scant breath gave Shame's relief. Hot fountain tears, slammed door of day! Explosive JOY, gnarly gloom Twined thunder's voice, bright display invading grief's cold, surly room. Bold mem'ries' warmth, her lasting youth, expansive play on flashing feet, Twinkling eyes, unstopping laughs, candied thrills, fresh-baked sweets. Fearing hands, while craving arms, rope-bound heart braves lonely thoughts. Laughing days without alarms, Moment's turn, sickly anger fraught. Open mind, limitless skies, cotton candy clouds above. Ice cream swimming pools to try Biggest heart and warmest love. Clo-sed mind, skies of steel, silent days of cloud that walked. Orphan boy in walls so real. Bedroom cell, where no one talked. Christmas gift, JOYFUL MOM, Living, Hoping, Playful times. Choral music, warming balm, Red, Green days of thoughts sublime. by Jay O'Toole on October 18th, 2017 |
