Philosophical Musings - Free Will
For the first round, let's talk free will.

Questions you might consider: Does it exist? Or is our path in life determined? If so, to what extent? How much does the environment we live in affect us? Have we internalised control, as Michel Foucault suggested?

You are free to explore this subject in whatever way you like.

====================================================================================================

With free will, we can choose
our lives and everything in it.
Free will is vast and full of choices.
Sometimes it brings negative results.
Other times it brings gracious rewards.

Free will is not a specific science.
It's a gift received at the beginning.
We learn early on right from wrong.
Sometimes our free will is taken away
either by choice or by force.

I was surprised to learn that there
are those who believe free will a myth.
Is it philosophical or religious?
That is the argument.
They say it's just an illusion.

There are many arguments to support
both having and not having free will.
Disease and coercion affect our choices.
But belief in free will can be healthy.
Now, I'll have to decide for myself.
