A breeze whisper through palm trees
Hot cup of coffee

Intone God's name at dawn
Whisper a prayer at noontime
A richer today

The Hair Cut

Snip, snip,
The stylist severed
Strands of hair.

Snip, snip,
Each strand dropped
Onto the tile covered floor.

Bicentenary Birthday Celebration Poem

In the two hundred years since His birth,
The world has changed,
And His scriptures have spread across
The planet.

In 2017,
We celebrate His 200th birthday,
It is a planet-wide celebration
Of love for Baha'u'llah.
