Typewriter

Prompt: Have you ever used a typewriter?

I took two years of typing in school. I hated it! We had electric type writers but I am not a fast typist but I learned how to type and using a keyboard is so much better. I had to take typing to be on the paper staff and I was a reporter for the local paper so typing was necessary.

Mom had a portable one, not electric and I hated using it. The letters would stick and Mom would leave the typewriter out on the dining room table and when I was eight, I heard someone typing at 1:00 AM. It was a dark and I thought I saw a black hairy monster typing! I am sure I was just imagining it! Glad he could type on it. I do like my keyboard.
