We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life. |
To look a bully in the eyes can take your breath away. We know this bully starts the cries of those, who flee today. A human bully we could chide or call authorities, But weather bully makes us hide and chases Law that flees. To eye this bully in despair brings no response nor pang, We wonder, Irma, do you care two states you now harang? The bully indefatigable doth march at slow snail's pace That damage quite irreparable would mark our land's disgrace. One day you'll be but memory, a scar that we will wear. You'll fade as we no longer see, but still in heart we'll care. The bully makes her will be known in pray'r we call on God. He answers and His Wisdom's shown. His Glory we applaud. God answers prayer as He sees fit, not always as we ask. It's "Yes" or "No" or "Wait a bit," while labored in our task. The waiting part may make God seem as biggest Bully yet, But brightest silver gets its gleam as Smelter's heat be let. What hope have I that all's not lost in tale that's yet to tell? The Savior paid the Greatest Cost. I have no fear of Hell. To live in Hope of future Day with loved ones by my side Brings peace to heart that come what may in Love we will abide. by Jay O'Toole on September 8th, 2017 |
