Wait and See

Will the storm bring lasting joy
to place we rest each day?
Or will it test and strength employ
no matter what we say?

Joy will come, when misses us
and other path it goes,
But what of those, who must discuss
the passion of its throes?

"Wait and see." We daily do
'mid lines of cars and souls.
I wait for gas, 'til after you,
then groc'ries are my goals.

"Wait and see," 'til we may know
of hope or great concern.
Will life we know it overthrow?
A new life must we learn?

The daily norm bears "wait and see,"
the "calm before the storm."
Will storm when past our peace then free?
Or will peace take new form?

I know The Lord is in control.
There is no second cause.
His Will is done and we are whole.
His Glory brings applause!

The "wait and see" is human sight.
The end He fully knows.
What may present as human plight
are blocks where more life grows.
