I love this song and I thought about the places I lived when I was a child and Dad was in the Air Force. Arkansas, Washington State, Tennessee, Arizona, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Indiana. I lived in Indiana more then I have any state. Indiana has always been my home. I think I would love to live in Washington State but I would miss Indiana. I stayed in Florida with my sister for a week at a time every other year but I missed my home in Indiana. I travel to Michigan but I remember Indiana is my home. I guess it always will be.

I would hate to travel from state to state because I want a home of my own. Indiana is my home. I will be thankful to spend time in Michigan and go back home. Home is where the heart is. I always came back to Indiana.

Even if I go to the city, I want to go home to Green Acres, my country home. Green Acres is the place for me. Farm living is the life for me.

I love the scenery in this song and we all have a place to call home. I could wish I was here or there but I have been in Indiana 44 years straight outside of traveling which isn't very often. I live in the country and it is nice. I am home. We do have Lake Michigan and I like going there. I feel like I spend a day at the ocean. I forget it is part of Indiana.

Glen Campbell sang songs about love and home. He considered Arkansas his home but he lived in other states. He was a country boy. I am a country girl and proud of it.

Some people live in one state all their life and that is alright. I hated moving when I was a kid but I appreciate the states I lived in. Can we go home again? Of course we can. Indiana. Things have changed and I cherish the memories. My grandparents made Indiana special. Indiana is still special. I am home with my husband and cat. Life is good.
