The Pearl Grey sky echos thoughts of winter, too
The coldness feels brisk inside my nose
Scenery now takes on a darker hue

There's a feeling of stillness everywhere
It's getting stronger throughout the hours
Firesides already burning in the homes
With anticipation of snow showers

Pine needle scents seem stronger now
And the chestnut fire roast
Christmas music whispered through cold air
Sounds and scents I know the most
