She got lost that day in the castle keep
This maze-like fortress is so vast
Despite her frustration, she didn't weep
She found the exit suddenly at last

This maze-like fortress is so vast
That 'exit' was a belfry at the tower
She found the exit suddenly at last
Running in circles for more than an hour

Exhaustion was threatening, she knew it was true
Running in circles for more than an hour
She sat for a moment, wondering what to do

It was then she realized, and wanted to shout
Despite her frustration, she didn't weep
Gloriously, she finally ran out
She got lost that day in the castle keep
