Hope for sleepy dreams without a blink
Lights off at bedtime, and then the sound
A screech or scream from outside bound
The chilling alarm was not a mink
Throw off blankets of the color pink
Wishing my new headache might soon shrink
Sighing and shaking my head all around

Down to the kitchen to find the link
What do I see on the countersink
A sitting fox left me dumbfound
How'd he get in from outside ground
At the faucet to get a drink
