Don't gaze at me, as you can read through my eyes
I no longer love you, so that's all you should see
Our paths may have crossed, but I don't wish to tantalize
We've both moved on, and you need to let it be.

Once upon a time, I thought I loved you
I made you believe I was here to stay
Sorry I caused you pain and made you blue
Now to another, I gave my heart away

We found each other again, but they'll be no kiss
The stars didn't shine for us, I know
Don't take my hand; Don't say you will miss
Wipe the tears from you eyes, for I need to go
