Day 18, still fun

DAY 18...... farewell Falkland Islands.... Darwin House was an oasis. The penguins were a delight. This afternoon we jetted to Punta Arena, Chile. Our new adventure awaits.

          Our intrepid leader Lyn's a Witchy Woman has asked about our favourite parts of this trip thus far. Oh, every moment has been a blast and memory worthy.

         I will always smile and giggle as I recall our private dance lessons back at our Rio hotel. We can stumble with the best of them! I can still hear our oh so patient instructor admonishing, "Relax, relax." We were encouraged to "feel the music." I'm sure he was far too polite to sigh and roll his eyes. Perhaps, he just believes all gringos are clumsy.

          Oh, I almost swoon when I recall the sailing, swimming, and snorkeling in the turquoise waters of the islands of Angra dos Reis. That was so idyllic and beautiful! All those gorgeous greens and blues appealed to me.

         Learning to sit a horse and play polo was so much fun. My mount was so forgiving.
