Midweek Reflections on Ending and Beginnings
Wednesday, August 9, 2017
“Endings and beginnings are merely paired facets of an imagined stone curtain, behind which a plethora of opportunities await.”
Ged Thompson Liverpool Poet
The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" prompt for Day 1242
Every story has an ending. Every ending has a new beginning. What is your take on this?
There are no endings,
only new beginnings,
even the ending that we call death
is a new beginning for the human soul.
When the soul and body separate at death,
the body decomposes into its original subatomic components
and the soul ascends into the next world.
Endings and beginnings
are bookends
holding together specific years
or decades of our existence.
Endings encourage us to let go of the past,
while beginning make us look ahead;
during peoples physical existence
they come face to face
with multiple beginnings and endings.
