Dancing in the Rain

I'm dancing in the rain,
I know the neighbors will complain,
When they see I'm dancing in the rain.

I have to confess, I've never danced in the rain. When I was young and in grade school, I often walked home in the rain. Sometimes I skipped, or jumped into the mud puddles, but I never danced. I think that was because I never thought about dancing. Usually when I walked home, I was interested in keeping my books and workbooks dry. Sometimes I kept them dry, but most of the time I and my books arrived at home soaking wet (me) and damp (my books).

If more people danced in the rain,
it would be a lot better world
because people would laugh more.
