Today is the 13th, a number which many claim is "unlucky". Do you believe this, that a number can be unlucky? Do you have a lucky number? Or is it all just superstitious nonsense?

Are Numbers Lucky or Unlucky?

I don't think a number can be lucky or unlucky, in itself. It is the way a person thinks about the number that makes it unlucky or lucky. In the case of numbers and luck is a state of mind, a point of view, or a perception. If an individual thinks a number is lucky or unlucky, the person will look for instances in their life that confirms their belief about the number.

My Favorite Things

What are some of my favorite things? Anything that makes me smile or laugh, and, sometimes, even things that make me cry. My favorite books are usually fantasy, science fiction, and spiritual. My favorite music is anything I am listening to at the moment. My favorite clothing style is economical--second hand store--posh. I am not the type of person to spend money on brand names, unless they are on sale or I have used the brand before. If a piece of clothing looks good and it fits, then I am happy with it.
