Finished my WdC contest entry!

This will be short as I will be going to church soon. I’m happy to say, I have finished my story for the WdC official contest. It is about 1,950 words. Now I must edit it. Writing the story took three days. And of course, I read a few chapters out of Avalon before I wrote.
According to CNN, we are in our six mass extinction period. About 37% of the world has been altering the world to make farms and pastures. There used to be thirty-million elephants. Now there are only forty-thousand in Africa. In another CNN story, they consulted a source that said a thirty-ton iceberg that broke off from the main glacier in Antarctica. The previous one called B15, broke off on 2000 in believe it said. Scientist have been watching the berg that just broke off on Monday.
I was texting Gio last night. He was tired. When I asked him why he said it was a long day. I asked him if he was doing errands and whatnot. He said it’s just life stuff. He is going through a troubling time I think.
I think I’m going to ditch the eating period. I don’t feel like being out that late. I do not talk that much either. Maybe next time.
